Blessing of the Badges

The 3rd Annual Blessing of the Badges Festival will be held on August 6th in conjunction with Friday Night Live.

 Visit beautiful Downtown Ludington and be a part of our 3rd Annual Blessing of the Badges Festival honoring  public safety personnel. Visit vendors, shop downtown, eat, and listen to some great music, then join us for a special ceremony honoring these personnel.

A color guard from the US Coast Guard joined by our local Sheriff, Ludington Police & Ludington Fire will lead the group to the ceremony location.

Fire Truck Pull: Test your teams strength by pulling a Ludington Fire Truck across the line in the quickest amount of time.

Schedule of Events:

6:00pm Friday Night Live Begins- All trucks and vendors should be set-up

6:45pm All Public Safety personnel taking part in the procession will meet at the Ludington Fire Department

7:00pm Procession begins

7:15pm Blessing of the Badges Ceremony

8:00pm Fire Truck Pull begins

9:00pm Friday Night Live Ends- Light Parade Begins
