An "American Experience" Is Coming to Ludington!
Join WCMU, The City of Ludington and The Ludington and Scottville Area Chamber of Commerce for a free showing of an American Experience film documenting the life of baseball great Roberto Clemente. The movie will begin at dusk, Friday, June 11 at Ludington City Park in downtown Ludington, but come early for free popcorn from "Lela's Original Kettle Corn," door prizes and to reserve the perfect spot to watch the show!
Roberto Clemente: American Experience" is a one-hour film highlighting an exceptional baseball player and committed humanitarian who challenged racial discrimination to become baseball's first Latino superstar. The film features interviews with Clemente's wife Vera; Baseball Hall of Famer Orlando Cepeda, and former teammates, to present an intimate and revealing portrait of a man whose passion and grace made him a legend.
This event is free and open to the public. In the event of inclement weather, a rain location is reserved at the Ludington Area Center for the Arts Auditorium at 107 S. Harrison St.
