About this year's Musicians:
Daisy May, born May Earlwine, opened for Terri Clark in 2001. Her voice has been compared to music great Patsy Cline. Daisy May, a Michigan Native blends enough Country and folk to accompany all tastes. We are honored that she will be a part of this year's Friday Night Live. http://www.earthworkmusic.com/daisyMay
The Icicles. An Indie pop phenomenon, the Icicles songs have been featured in Motorola and Target Commercials. The Icicles share with their contemporaries the ability to create music that recalls the joyous pop sound of the great Sixties' girl groups, at the same time managing to breathe a certain maturity into this oft-visited genre. The tried and true themes of young love and youthful, naive exuberance are present, but tempered with realism and the wistfulness that comes through a grown-up knowledge of conflict and regret. http://www.theicicles.com
The Scottville Clown Band, This group needs no introduction to the locals, but if you are not from here, you may wonder who these highly talented musicians dressed in clown attire are! This is the Hometown, World Famous Scottville Clown Band. Not only will they wow you with their talent, but they will keep you entertained with their witty, fun performance.
The General Assembly. The General Assembly was formed in the fall of 1971 by a group of musicians from the Ludington, Michigan area . The players enjoyed the sounds of the big bands and wanted to regularly play the music long associated with such names as Basie, Kenton, Herman, Miller, the Dorseys, and others. Since that time the band has performed throughout Michigan, from the Detroit area to Traverse City, while receiving requests for appearances from as far away as San Francisco. Audiences have responded with "The best in the Midwest," "Great performance," "We should have had a dance floor," and "Our audience insists you come back next year." http://www.thegeneralassembly.com/about.html
Bill Burnett as Elvis. If you enjoyed the sounds of Elvis and wish you could relive those golden years…wait no longer! Elvis will be making his debut appearance in Ludington for this years Friday Night Live line-up
Timmer's Hurricane. Come here one of Ludington's finest in this rock band ensemble. This will be Timmer's Hurricane's second year at Friday Night Live. They will be performing the evening of the Blessing of the Badges Ceremony.
Just Country. This traditional country band features one of Ludington's own Firefighters. Just Country has been a staple band at Friday Night Live for many years. They are always a crowd favorite.
Alicia Venchuk. Alicia joined the Friday Night Live line up in 2008. Her solo singing/guitar act stunned the crowd! Her amazing talent is a wonderful addition to our line-up, and best of all she is a Ludington High School Student!
Gordon the Magician. Back by popular demand is our favorite magic act! Kids and adults alike are entertained by the dazzling magic mastery of Gordon the Magician!
Tim Krause. Tim Krause has been playing the Ludington Circuit for many years. He has performed locally at Sportsman's Irish Pub & Grill and many other local venues. Tim is always a crowd favorite and we are excited to have him on our Friday Night Live Stage.
Songs from our local Stage! This year we will be adding highlights from 2 local musicals directed by Dr. Rick Plummer and staring some wonderful local talent. Hear songs from The Music Man and Forever Plaid. Both musicals have fun catchy songs that you can sing along with.
